Cenote Diving in Cancun

Dive in the Mystical waters 0f Cancun's Cenotes

Mexico's Sacred Cenote: A gateway to the gods

Explore cancun's sacred mayan Caves.

A cenote (from the Maya dzonot, meaning “sinkhole”) is a natural limestone collapse revealing groundwater underneath. They were once fresh water sources and sacred sites for the Maya. The Yucatán Peninsula alone has about 10,000 of them.

Cenotes represent the most enchanting fresh‑water diving and snorkeling experiences on the Yucatán. From mystical candlelit caverns to open‑skylit ponds, they combine geology, history, crystal-clear water, and ecological wonder into unforgettable aquatic escapades. Whether you're paddling with family or exploring deep in a cave, cenotes are an essential complement to ocean adventures like MUSA.
